My current research focuses on the sociology of health and aging with interests in gerontology and social psychology. I also have interests in social relationships and health disparities. I have conducted research in the UK focusing on civic education for disadvantaged populations. In this work I applied theories from the sociology of education as well as prominent political science ideas in order to provide best practices in supporting and educating these groups.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in biological sciences from Purdue University in 2023. While at Purdue I was involved with and the Center on Aging and the Life Course (CALC) as well as Advanced Methods at Purdue (AMAP).
I am currently earning a Masters in Public Health (MPH) in population aging at the Rutgers School of Public Health. I plan on continuing my education after and earning a PhD in Sociology.
